Staying in town overnight and looking for area attractions? On either side of the Yadkin River you can enjoy listening to rich bluegrass, country, sultry jazz or soft rock at one of the local restaurants, outdoor concerts or inside the Yadkin Valley Event Center. Year round performances are held 5 minutes away at the John A. Walker Center.
Keep up your exercise regimen by taking a brisk walk, run or bike ride along the Yadkin Greenway connecting Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro. If you prefer a strenuous ride, bike the Dark Mountain Trails on the grounds of W. Kerr Scott Lake, all within a 5 minute drive.
The Yadkin Valley Event Center is centrally located in the Yadkin Valley corridor convenient to numerous wineries, vineyards and distilleries. Scheduled and self guided tours are available upon request.
